Capillary consists of a discarded copy of Wuthering Heights, drilled multiple times through from centrefold to cover to create passages (known as foramina in anatomy). Laden in a mixture of waxes, the book has been interlaced with delicate threads: capillaries that seem to give life to the ossified book. Placed in a vitrine, the piece emulates museological specimens viewed on trips to medical museums throughout Europe.
