Selection employs a range of materials—a selection—to comment on how we make decisions. Hand-printing the old English version of 'Eeny Meeny', the sewing pattern paper creates a transluscent background for the words, which appear to float off the wall. Pinned beneath with brass escutcheon nails, the words 'my mother said to pick the very best one and you are not it' appear playful, but underline the sharpness of words.
